My First Visit

When you call to schedule your initial appointment, please complete the new patient forms and submit them before your appointment. Please request that your family dentist send your x-rays to our office. These will be returned to his/her office. Click here for directions to our office.

How Much is My First Visit?

At your first visit, you will be given a complete periodontal and/or implant exam. If you have a heart murmur or other heart condition, or a joint replacement (ex: hip, knee), Dr. Dyer suggests that you take an antibiotic before any dental treatment. Call our office, and we will be happy to call in your medication for this visit. Upon completion of the examination, Dr. Dyer and his staff will discuss your treatment options, recommendations and fees. There is no such thing as an insignificant question, so please ask as many questions as you like. It is important that you understand your diagnosis and outcomes based upon the treatment options.

There is no charge for our dental implant consultation. A periodontal consultation is $82. If you need a full-mouth series of x-rays, there is a charge of $120. An original set of x-rays will be sent to your referring doctor.

Dr. Dyer expects payment in full for consultation appointments. We will file your insurance for you.

Insurance Policy

Our office wants our patients to be able to comfortably afford dental care. We understand that when fees exceed $500, it may be difficult to afford out-of-pocket care. We proudly offer the following financial policy so that you can have the opportunity to decide which payment option best suits your needs.

INSURANCE:
Our office understands the value of insurance benefits to our patients. We will fill out and file your insurance forms at no charge. We will estimate your deductible and the portion that we feel will be covered by your insurance carrier. Please understand that any expected payment from your insurance is an estimate only and that you are responsible for any portion not covered by insurance. We will do all we can to assure you of maximum benefits.

Payment Options

1. Bookkeeping Courtesy (Prepayment of Treatment In-Full): Our office offers a bookkeeping courtesy of 10% for cash or check prepayment or a bookkeeping courtesy of 5% for prepayment on your credit card if you pay for the entire cost of treatment in advance.

2. We work with CareCredit and SpringStone.

We would be happy to work with you to plan the most appropriate arrangements for your budget. Financing your treatment allows you to start your dental care immediately and spread the payments over a time period. Most importantly, it offers you the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of dental health without the financial strain.
